Aistės-LSU, Kaunas (LTU) won at home against Ukrainian champions Interkhim, Odessa 84-76 (32-22, 14-17, 19-21, 19-16) in Group B on Friday, but remained in the fifth place and will not play in the second stage.
Interkhim finished in fourth place.
On Friday Aistės-LSU jumped out to an 17-9 lead. Home team led 32-22 after first quarter, 46-39 at halftime, 65-60 after third quarter. Interkhim went ahead 72-70 in the 37th minute, but later Aistės-LSU went on a 9-0 run and won the game 84-76.
Interkhim’s guard Natalia Kolotovska set a season-high for assists (14).
