Lietuvos telekomas won 11th Baltic Women’s Basketball League’s championship for the 6th consecutive time. It was also 3rd time they won the cup so it will stay in Vilnius forever.
Laisve – TIM SCUF 77:69It was very close game from the beginning till the end. Regular season winners and the only unbeaten team TIM SCUF came to Vilnius with only 7 players and playing coach Maryna Tkachenko. Lack of players was the key factor in this game. Ukrainians started well and were leading at the half time. Olena Krikunenko and Inna Faskhutdinova scored 17 points each in these 20 minutes. After the break Laisve got close and in 32nd minute got ahead. Lithuanians were faster and had more strength which helped them to win the game.
Lietuvos telekomas – Arvi 106:82Lietuvos telekomas played as if it was a practice. This attitude of the champions helped Arvi to stay close for 20 minutes. They even got ahead in the third quarter (51:53, 53:55). But in the next 2 minutes Lietuvos telekomas outscored Arvi 13:0 (66:55) and the game was done at this moment.

Arvi – TIM SCUF 62:65Game started with a lot of missed opportunities from both teams. It was only 7:9 after 10 minutes and no better after 20 minutes – 25:26. TIM SCUF were leading but as in semifinal it looked like they will not have enough strength for four quarters. Although Ukrainians started 3rd quarter rather well and made 7:0 run (31:40), but Arvi took the lead in the next couple of minutes with the 10:0 run (49:44). It was a real drama in the last quarter though. Just 7 TIM SCUF players gave a real fight against higher, stronger and more experienced Arvi and won this game in the last seconds.
