Belarusian champions Tsmoki-Minsk won against Sūduva, Marijampolė 80-74 on Tuesday, but Lithuanian champions took revenge on Wednesday 88-75. Both games were played in Marijampolė.
Tsmoki-Minsk (6/4) is second and Sūduva (5/5) is third.
On Tuesday Tsmoki-Minsk led 36-35 at halftime, 57-54 after third quarter. Sūduva took the lead 59-57 in the 31st minute, butvisitors went on a run 10-0 to gain a 67-59 advantage (33rd minute). Sūduva cut their deficit to 74-77 with 45 seconds to play and later had a chance to level the score. Stephanie Gardner missed a 3-pointer with 20 seconds to play.
Tsmoki-Minsk out-rebounded their opponents 52-33.
On Wednesday Tsmoki-Minsk played without Viktoryia Hasper, Ala Murauskaya, Kai Afi James and Kseniya Malashko. Sūduva led 38-20 in the 14th minute, 44-37 at halftime and 70-54 after third quarter.
